We offer inspiring, engaging and educational individual and group music lessons for students of all ages with professionally qualified music teachers across a range of instruments and styles: Brass, Guitar, Piano, Strings, Woodwinds, Percussion and Voice, and Music Theory and Musicianship. Whether you’re just starting your musical journey or looking for a refresher course, students of all ages are welcome. All staff are highly qualified and skilled, and perform regularly around our region. All staff have full Child Protection screening and are required to undertake annual training in Child Protection and First Aid. Staff are also actively engaged in professional development and are frequent presenters and attendees at our concerts series. Please check our staff page for more information. Hume Conservatorium offers a range of equity and merit scholarships each year thanks to the generous support of our community. Current students will be provided with information on how to apply in October each year and scholarships will be awarded through a competitive process for the following calendar year.
2022 Hume Conservatorium Scholarship Information - applications due 15 November.
This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, there will not be a live audition – you will need to upload a video of your performance. Please fill in the application form and upload your audition video once you are ready to complete the application. Please firstname.lastname@example.org if your dropbox or similar is password protected. Applicants must dress appropriately in their audition video. Late applications will not be accepted.
Term 4B Individual Lessons and Ensembles (Week 6, Monday 8 November):
Individual Lessons – will resume as face-to-face unless you have a specific arrangement in place with your teacher to continue with online learning for the remainder of the year.
Ensembles – will return as face-to-face lessons noting vaccination requirements for all students over 16 years of age.

We have a number of ensembles to give students of all ages and interests the experience of playing or singing with others. They include:- Jazz & Stage Bands, choirs, Flute, Brass, and Clarinet ensembles.
