Nina studied for and received a Diploma of Creative Arts (Music) from Goulburn Teachers College, with voice and piano as her major subjects. She also completed a year at T.A.F.E, receiving a Certificate for Music in the Community, particularly with Recorder and Early Childhood Studies.
Nina commenced teaching music at the former Regional Music Centre, assisting with and teaching the Early Childhood Music program.
She also continued with her singing studies and completed examination (practical) up to the A.Mus.A. level and participated in many stage productions with the (now defunct) Argyle Society.
Nina has been an active and committed member of St Saviours Cathedral Choir, and was a long serving member of Goulburn Consort of Voices.
She has nurtured young students with recorder lessons – also piano and voice, and has prepared many students for Eisteddfods and AMEB Examinations with great successes.
Nina Believes that music is an integral part of the human development and endeavors to make all lesson experiences enjoyable. (She has also taught combined lessons with voice and recorder). Nina is a valued and respected member of the Hume Conservatorium staff
