Keva sees her first task as to foster a love of music in her students. Lessons aren’t just about sitting at an instrument, but are a mix of playing, listening, creating, singing, writing and games. Keva believes music is for everyone and enjoys finding each student’s musical path.

Keva studied piano and education at the Sydney Conservatorium, graduating with Bachelor of Music (Music Education)(Honours) in 2008. Keva has worked as a music specialist in Australia and internationally. Keva’s experience includes teaching music classes in pre-schools, primary and high schools, as well as directing choirs and various instrumental ensembles, working with children and adults.

Keva has worked at the Hume Conservatorium since 2011 starting with instrumental students and some classes and quickly rising to the critical Executive Management role of Manager: Performance and Outreach.. She has worked as an instrumental and theory tutor since 2006, and has successfully prepared students for AMEB, Trinity and ABRSM examinations. Keva also has over fifteen years of experience as an accompanist.

Keva has performed with choirs, bands and musical theatre companies in the Southern Highlands, Sydney and London. She regularly performs regularly with musicians from across the Hume region.

Keva loves being a music teacher, making and sharing music with others every day.
