Isabella Brown

Isabella Brown began her studies on the Violin but at age 10 she realised bigger was better so she switched to the Double Bass. Recently she graduated from UTAS (University of Tasmania) on the Executive Dean’s Honour Roll for study in the degree of Bachelor of Music (Elite) with Honours studying under Stuart Thompson. Before UTAS she completed a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music studying under Alex Henery. Career highlights include traveling to Buenos Aires in 2011 to study tango music at the Orquesta Escuela de Tango and playing at the 2013 Adelaide Festival with Kimbra and Silverchair’s Daniel Johns. Isabella keeps herself busy as a casual musician with Orchestra Victoria, The Opera Australia Orchestra, The Canberra Symphony Orchestra and Willoughby Symphony Orchestra.
